Sorry Johnny Weir — while I’ll admit I love your beyond-flamboyant attitude and propensity to pray in Russian before your rounds, Evan Lysacek topped your pink tassel thing by leaps and bounds last night during men’s short program. Right when Evan took the ice I started drooling at his outfit and proudly proclaimed on Twitter that I’d wear the top out to a club any Friday night. All black (a necessity for me), layered fabric, hand sewn beaded detailing, strong, overly defined shoulders, and — the clincher — feathers pouring out from the wrist. OMG! Where do these men find these fabulous outfits?? Turns out Evan is Vera Wang’s athletic muse right now, and she designs and custom-makes his outfits. If you don’t tune into the Olympic figure skating competition to watch people fall on their asses and then get interviewed while crying in their native tongue, you should at least tune in for the outrageous fashion statements — never have I seen so many men in glitter and feathers, except for that drag ball I once went to…
which would make this….
DRAG ON ICE!

Outfits from other competitions, equally as fabulous:

So handsome in the tux.
