Today I had microdermabrasion and extractions done for the first time (I was the “facial model” for a friend who is training to be an esthetician). Extractions are ouchies! Not used to someone other than, well, my own fingernails inflicting pain on my skin. But it was awesome, and my skin has been glowing all day! Didn’t put on any makeup, figured it’d be nice to breathe and give my skin a break from all the products. I’ve always thought, if you’re a big time makeup geek, you gotta be able to rep the no makeup look too just to remind yourself that you don’t use makeup to hide, but to have fun (my personal mantra, at least!).  Now if only I could get motivated to get to the gym…strugg city right now, I’d rather just watch TV! My friend Nellie (my incredibly talented professional dancer bestie) makes dope feather earrings. This one is about a foot and a half long, feathers cascading past the camera, held together with beads and black suede.
